The well-being, safeguarding and pastoral care of all the members of the Manor Lodge community, particularly the children, is of paramount importance.
ISI Inspection report 2023
‘Children said they feel safe and happy in the school environment, demonstrating successful fulfillment of the school’s aim to bring joy to childhood experiences by enabling children to feel safe and secure in an environment where each voice is heard and well-being is nurtured.’
Nurturing everyday
well-being
Aspects of the Manor Lodge community such as; our school council, our community projects, worry boxes, ‘Rainbow Room’ pastoral ‘drop-in’ chats and the bespoke Manor Lodge ‘My Sky’ feelings framework all contribute to creating a special culture where well-being is genuinely valued alongside academic progress.
There's always someone to talk to
Beyond the day-to-day care, children also have the wider network of support Manor Lodge offers. As well as having a ‘go to’ adult of their choice, the children can also rely on the support of the Heads of Year, Heads of House (and House Families), the Head of Key Stages and the Deputy Head Pastoral who are all available to the children to ensure they feel safe, happy and listened to.
