At Manor Lodge, we believe it’s essential that our children have a say in how the school is run. To support this, we have a School Council that is elected by the children each year. Pupils from each year group can put themselves forward as candidates and share with their classmates why they should be chosen. Their peers then vote for the person they feel will best represent them.
Manor Lodge Parent Testimonial
“Our child is proud to be part of Manor Lodge, and we are proud to be part of the Manor Lodge family.”
School Presidents
In Year 6, three pupils are selected to be Presidents, along with two Deputies. The Presidents meet regularly with the Deputy Head Pastoral and the Head Teacher to share ideas and suggestions on behalf of the student body.
Eco Team
Manor Lodge School cares passionately about our environment and is very proud to be an Eco School. We were awarded the Green Flag, the highest award for Eco Schools, for the first time in 2011 and have maintained it ever since.
The school has an Eco Team made up of children from Reception to Year 6. They elect their own Chair and Secretary and meet regularly to discuss ideas for recycling, reducing and re-using.
