ISI is appointed by the Department of Education to inspect association independent schools in England.
Under the new ISI framework, the reports award schools “met” or “not met” against five key standards and offer a short summary of their findings.
This new framework evaluates pupil experience across four core areas, alongside Safeguarding which underpins the entire framework.
1. Leadership, management and governance
2. Quality of education, training and recreation
3. Pupils’ physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing
4. Pupils’ social and economic education and contribution to society
Manor Lodge School was inspected on 6 to 8 January 2026 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). All inspection standards were met.
We are delighted to present our report to you. It captures the dedication of our staff, is a tribute to our amazing children and showcases our strengths across the whole school. It identifies how our leaders have ensured that the school’s vision, to ‘unlock the inner potential at the heart of every child’ and our mission, ‘to create a culture where academic excellence, creativity and individuality are celebrated and sit at the heart of the school’s strategic development. It is a perfect example of how we prioritise the need for a high level of intellectual challenge, whilst underpinning a child’s personal well being.
