At Manor Lodge, we are happy to mentor newly qualified teachers, and we actively encourage the recruitment of graduates and newly-qualified teachers. We work closely with the University of Hertfordshire and the Institute of Education, and offer closely monitored mentoring programmes.
Our dedicated teaching staff (including music, PE and language specialists) are assisted by well-qualified teaching assistants. We also have a full-time librarian.
We have a strong support team, consisting of finance, administration, maintenance and grounds staff together with part-time dinner ladies and cleaners.
Manor Lodge has its own salary scales for both teaching and support staff.
A tour of the School will be included as part of the interview timetable, so it is not essential to visit the School before making an application. If you do wish to do so, please contact the Head Teacher’s PA to arrange an appointment.
