Wow! What a busy, fun, exciting, learning first half term we have had. Under the Sea has been explored thoroughly and we have shared some great knowledge. Shape has played a big part this week and they have been everywhere we went! A shape walk challenged us to see shapes around Manor Lodge and we used giant rope to make them outside. We even used ourselves to see how long Sea Creatures were in real life! Our communication skills have been tested to see if we could pass a seahorse egg to each other without using our hands, and to promote manners we had a tea party were we had to serve each other. In PE we have focused on travelling, balances and flight. It has been great to see what the children can come up with, using their imaginations and how they use their bodies to move. Moving on to next half term, we will be in chilly A Winter Wonderland.
