This week we have been exploring the story Bright Stanley. He is afraid of a shadow that turns out to be a group of Seahorses! This led onto us making our own shadows and writing a few sentences to say what we were afraid it would be! We are concentrating on matching objects to numbers up to 5 and focusing on how we can count objects that can’t be moved. All of us have loved going to Woodland Garden with Mrs Warshawsky and exploring outside, but learning at the same time. Outside some of us turned ourselves into sea creatures and used our own choice of large equipment to make giant shadows. We have looked at the Jewish celebration of Shabbat and learnt about this special family time together. A fun busy week has flown by.
