Nursery: 29th June

Our penultimate week in Nursery has been busy, exciting and very, very hot! The children going up to reception had the chance to meet their new teachers and classmates and the children staying on for their second year got to meet their new friends who will be joining us in the Nursery in September. In maths, the children worked hard to complete jigsaw puzzles. They were also counting buckets of water outside at the water tray, which was a nice way to cool off! Counting bubbles proved tricky but we had fun trying!   In literacy the children went on a hunt for letter pebbles, it took us a while but eventually we found all 26! We came inside out of the sun to use the Interactive white board, again working on our letter and sound recognition skills.  Our puppet shows were fun and entertaining, with lots of imaginative story telling.
