Year 6’s Trip to Vertigo

On Thursday 5th September after a morning of hard exams year 6 went on a bonding afternoon to Vertigo Adventures in Welwyn Garden City. There we participated in two main activities: team activities and low ropes. These tested out our strength, skill, balance and teamwork.

In the team activities we had to work and communicate together to get the climbers to the top, mostly by supporting them and cheering them the whole way.

The other activity was low ropes which was an obstacle course risen off the ground.

Throughout it, we had to maintain our balance especially across the rolling log and crossing the unstable bridge.

Everyone seemed happy after a great day out and it was a excellent experience for us all.
