Year 5: Rationing World War II

Year 5 enjoyed learning about rationing during World War ll with our caterers. They found out just how limited people’s diet was and how creative they had to be with their limited resources.

Fortunately for Year 5 they cooked a whole host of delicious foods including: cheese and potato dumplings, chocolate rolls and bread pudding.

It was a tasty treat for them but unimaginable for those living in the 1940’s.
