This week in Reception we have celebrated Harvest. Each class made a scarecrow to go outside and we wrote our own version of Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. We also had a mummy visitor to talk to us about the Jewish New Year and we tasted apples and honey. As it is soon going to be Halloween we read ‘Room on the Broom’ in drama and some of us were witches! We have continued to explore the outdoors and made a checklist to tick off the natural objects we could find. We introduced a friendship stop so if anyone was feeling lonely they could wait there for someone to play with. We have had such a busy first half of term.
