Castles Day

On Tuesday 13th March, Year 1 had a visit from History off the Page who delivered a most exciting and enjoyable ‘Castles Day’. The children had first hand experience of a variety of activities including making ‘medicine’, candle dipping and soap making. The afternoon session was a re-enactment of a Medieval banquet. The ‘Lord of the Manor’ was treated to a lovely feast and enjoyed entertainment from the jugglers, dancers and actors. It was a truly memorable and worthwhile day!
