Year 6 day at Tolmers Wood

On 7 September Year 6 took a bonding trip to Tolmers Scout Camp. The glorious weather made the day even better. In the morning they raced up and down hills, climbed trees, walked across fallen logs, crawled along tunnels and waded through waist-high water. Having got temporarily lost, they eventually found their way back to base. Lunch was taken sitting lazily in the sunshine. In the afternoon they split into two teams and played “kick cricket”, both sides winning at least one match. What a great start to the term!
