Diwali

Year 2 celebrated Diwali on Tuesday 13 November. The children had an absolutely fabulous time decorating, dancing and eating special treats!

History comes alive in Year 2!

This term in History we have been learning about the Tudors. It was very exciting to go back in time and see what life was like in the Tudor time. We looked at lots of fascinating artefacts and different items we could touch.

We had a chance to dress up in different costumes worn in the Tudor period and we practised writing our names with a feather quill. It felt quite different to using a pencil! The fun didn’t stop there… we played instruments that would have been played in the Tudor time too.

We learnt just how different the life of a Tudor was to the way we live today!
